Sometimes we observe art painted by nature or by an artist, sometimes this is done in an organized or random fashion, the result depends on the creator and the perception and interpretation of the observer or art collector.

Shapes and colors play a major role in this activity. A combination of these two powerful forces create the values I embrace when I venture into the realm of abstraction. The elements in the painting can be defined or nebulous, demarcations can also occur and sometimes those elements are harmonized.

Astride all these activities sits the Abstract Art.

When I paint abstracts I strive to hit all corners of this contemporary style. It is really refreshing to party with colors and see what shows up when I am done or when I decide to sign the painting so to speak.     - Kanayo
